Dandelion flowers are collected in dry and warm weather, in the middle of the day, when the flowers are fully open. At home, the yellow flower pieces are separated from the calyx. Put them together with the sugar in layers in a glass. We put it closed in the sun for so long that the sugar melts. Strain the flower pieces through cheesecloth and squeeze them out thoroughly.
