Recipe: homemade gin & tonic balls for everyone who loves this popular cocktail

If you are a fan of one of the most popular cocktails in the world, the gin & tonic, then you should also try this dessert. Homemade gin & tonic balls (also truffles) are easy to make and, like the cocktail itself, divine!

Treat yourself to a piece of heaven! Homemade gin & tonic balls (also truffles) are perfect for Christmas and New Year holidays, and they are also easy to prepare.

Ingridients

  • 200 g of dark chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons of sweet cream
  • 2 tablespoons of gin
  • 1 tablespoon tonic
  • juice from half a lime
  • the zest of half a lime
  • 10 teaspoons of butter
  • 200 g of white chocolate

Preparation

Place a large bowl in a pan of boiling water. Add the dark chocolate and cream, stirring until the chocolate is completely melted and the ingredients are thoroughly mixed. Add gin, tonic, lime juice, lime zest, butter and mix well. Remove from heat and refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight. Form small balls from the mass and put them in the freezer for half an hour. Melt the white chocolate and use a fork to dip the balls into it so that they are completely 'dressed'. Garnish with a lime peel. Place in the refrigerator for half an hour or until the white chocolate hardens. So sweet good run!
