Recipe: oatmeal with baked pear

Oatmeal dishes have recently become one of the most popular. This is because their preparation is quick and easy, and in addition, due to the abundance of fiber, they have an extremely positive effect on digestion. We have prepared a recipe for delicious oatmeal with baked pears.

Oatmeal and baked pears they may not sound like a combination you would immediately think of, but the different flavors together make for a very tasty dish. Oatmeal with baked pears is an excellent choice for breakfast or a snack, which will give you energy and helped you fight with bloating and digestive problems.

Ingredients

    Ingredients for baked pears:
  • 2 pears
  • 1 heaping teaspoon of allspice
  • 1 tablespoon of water
  • 2 tablespoons of mixed seeds
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup as desired
  • Ingredients for oatmeal:
  • 80 g of oats
  • 300 ml of yogurt or milk
  • 1 apple

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the oats, yogurt or milk and the apples you grated earlier.
  2. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 2 hours or, even better, overnight.
  3. Remove the cores from the pears and cut them into pieces. Mix with allspice, seeds, honey or maple syrup and water. Then bake the mixture in the oven, which you have heated to 180°C, in a baking dish for 20-25 minutes or until it softens.
  4. Pour the soaked oats into 2 bowls and serve with the baked pears. Store the pear mixture and the oatmeal mixture separately in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

Additional tips

  • Instead of milk or you can use yogurt kefir or milk of plant origin (almond, soy, walnut, coconut...).
  • Oatmeal can be served together with almond butter.
  • Baked pears can be added to the dish warm or cold.
