Recipe: Baked crispy chickpeas

With these crispy chickpeas, you won't even think about chips, smokies or popcorn, you'll save money and prepare a snack to your taste. Chickpeas can be seasoned with various spices such as: dried basil, thyme, paprika, oregano, depending on your preferences and taste.

Ingredients

  • can of chickpeas
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper

Directions

  1. Heat the oven to 200 degrees.
  2. Strain the chickpeas well, then rinse them with water.
  3. Wipe it with paper towels and leave it for a few more minutes to dry completely.
  4. Spread the chickpeas on baking paper and drizzle with olive oil and salt.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes to half an hour, stirring occasionally.
  6. Chickpeas are cooked when they are golden and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
  7. Sprinkle it with spices and mix.
