Range Rover continues to set standards in luxury and performance. This time we are greeted with a new version of the high-performance SUV, the 2024 Range Rover Sport SV, which puts at the heart a twin supercharged 4.4-liter V8 engine with hybrid technology borrowed from BMW.

First, a new power unit, replacing the supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine, always offers 626 horses and 590 pounds (800Nm) of torque. That's 59 hp and 74 lb-ft (100 Nm) more than before. If you engage Dynamic Launch Mode, this beast gives you the maximum of these values, and in normal operation the torque is reduced to 551 lb-ft (750 Nm).

Range Rover Sport SV, which weighs just 2,560 kg (5,644 lbs), can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in everything 3.6 seconds and reaches a speed of up to 180 mph (290 km/h). That's impressive performance for a petrol SUV that proves it's not all about weight.

What's more, customers can reduce this weight by choosing the former 23-inch carbon wheels in the world that remove the common 36 kg (80 lbs) of weight. The new SV is also the first Range Rover to feature optional carbon-ceramic brakes (Brembo), which reduce weight by a further 34 kg (75 lbs) compared to standard iron brakes. Combined with the carbon hood, the weight savings are 76 kg (168 lbs).

What's more, the SUV boasts a special SV mode that lowers the vehicle by additional 15 mm (0.6 inch) ter improves throttle response, steering and response speed of the eight-speed automatic transmission.

As the icing on the cake, it offers a new one 2024 Range Rover Sport SV another special feature – seats with built-in transducers. These built-in mechanisms in the seats vibrate to the music played through the 29-speaker, 1430-watt Meridian sound system. Thus, the driver and passenger can not only hear, but also "feel" the music. The seats, known as Body and Soul Seats (BASS), also offer a wellness program with six specially developed tracks (Poise, Soothe, Serene, Cool, Tonic, Glow) that promise to calm and relax.

In its first year of production, Land Rover will be this spectacular 2024 Range Rover Sport SV sold as “Edition One”, a version that will only be available to selected buyers by invitation.

2024 Range Rover Sport SV it's a really impressive car. It is an icon of luxury and performance, constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible with its premium features and innovative functions. It is a vehicle that promises to redefine the luxury SUV segment and set new benchmarks for its competitors.

Despite all the impressive features and innovations brought by the new Range Rover Sport SV, will have to face tough competition in the luxury SUV market. Its main competitors are Porsche Cayenne Turbo, which is known for its exceptional performance and driving dynamics; BMW X5 M, which boasts exceptional power and refined comfort; Mercedes-Benz GLE 63 AMG, which combines luxury and performance with the legendary AMG pedigree; and the Audi RS Q8, which offers an enviable combination of sportiness and technological advancement.
