If we are under severe mental or emotional stress for a long time, our soul can literally become tired.

And even though we want to lift ourselves up with positive thinking and redirecting our attention, we're likely to still feel drained and tired.

The reason this happens is that our soul also needs time to heal, just like broken bones need time to heal.

Although the soul is not visible, it is as important as the body it is in, so we must treat the healing of the soul as seriously as the injury to the body.

Ignoring the signs that our energy is draining can lead to very serious consequences such as chronic anxiety, mental health issues and depression.

1. All you want to do during the day is rest and lie down

You tend to doze off often, but sometimes you have a hard time waking up and getting out of bed. You feel restless at night because during your sleep you experience intense dreams and nightmares that seem so real.

2. You feel pain all over your body

You may feel tension, dizziness, stomach pain, blurred vision and headache for no reason. You want to feel better, you know there's nothing wrong with you, but you still can't help it.

3. You don't know what's wrong

When someone asks you what's wrong with you, you don't know what to say because you don't even know how you feel. You know that something complex and deep is going on inside you, but you can't describe why you feel this way and why you can't get rid of this energy.

4. You often feel restless

Your mind and body are out of sync. You keep forgetting things and feel lost, like you don't belong in this world.

Rest as much as you need. Turn off your phone and make time for your favorite things. Take a hot bath, meditate, play your favorite music and spend more time with the people you love the most.

When you really pay attention to what your soul wants, you can eliminate everything in your life that makes you feel exhausted and weak, and instead focus on positive thoughts and experiences that radiate beauty and positive energy.
