The new MacBook Pro (2016) has a secondary display! The revolution has failed!

New MacBook Pro (2016)

After four years, we saw the new MacBook Pro (2016), which Apple presented at the Hello World conference, which followed less than two months after the traditional September event, when Apple introduced the iPhone 7. Apple is obsessed with width, the new MacBook Pro is namely, a fifth thinner than its predecessor. And if the iPhone 7 got rid of the headphone jack, the new MacBook Pro got rid of the function keys, which were replaced by a touch bar (Touch Bar).

Apple he presented the new MacBook Pro (2016), which he has been working on since 2012. This includes secondary multi-touch (Multi-Touch) Retina display, which is located between the keyboard and the screen, where they used to be function keys (F1 to F12 keys).

The new MacBook Pro is thinner and more powerful than its 2012 predecessor.

Instead, they will be displayed on the auxiliary screen capacitive keys, notifications, photos, videos, smileys and other symbols, and you will be able to adapt the content to your own needs (with the function drag and drop). It also has a Touch Bar fingerprint reader Touch ID, with which you can unlock individual programs or folders and thereby increase the security of your personal data.

The keyboard remains the same as the latest MacBook, but the sliding panel on the 15-inch model is twice as large as its predecessor. With a width of 14.9 millimeters it's even thinner than the 13-incher MacBook Air. The new 13-inch MacBook Pro measures that much, while the 15-inch one measures 15.5 millimeters. Their weight is 1,36 or 1.8 kilograms. The screen is now for 67 percent brighter and just as much more contrasting.

Under the hood, the new MacBook Pro (available three derivatives) hides either a dual-core Intel Core i5 processor or a quad-core processor Intel Core i7 (2133Mhz), 8 to 16 GB of working memory, Intel Iris Graphics 540/550 or Radeon Pro 450 and SSD-disk sizes from 256 GB up to 2 TB. In principle, there is no big or unexpected revolution here.

The new MacBook Pro has two or four connectors Thunderbolt 3  and no USB-A, so he kept it classic headphone jack. For the entry-level version, you have to shell out $1,499 across the pond, for the most expensive GPU package AMD Polaris with 4 GB of VRAM and from $2,399 and all the way up to $4,350.
