Welcome to the second Karst Prosciutto Festival, which will take place on Saturday, June 9, at Pogačarjev trg in Ljubljana. Between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., a varied educational, cultural and culinary program has been prepared for you with an emphasis on tasting and recognizing real Karst prosciutto.
Karst prosciutto festival in Ljubljana, which is taking place for the second year in a row, is also intended this year recognition of Karst prosciutto and its European symbol of quality – protected geographical indication. You will be able to taste it real Karst prosciutto, watched the masters cut elegant fettinas, thin slices of prosciutto and learned a lot more about this superb Karst delicacy and rituals, associated with it.
You will be able to this year too in the prize quiz test their knowledge of Karst prosciutto and the marks that guarantee its authenticity and quality, and the lucky winner will receive a whole Karst prosciutto.
