Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 180 g of sugar
  • 50 g of cocoa
  • 200 ml of oil
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • 1 bag of baking powder
  • 540 g of flour
  • 50 g of coconut

Directions

  1. The first step in making coconut chocolate balls is to prepare the dough mixture. In a bowl, beat the eggs together with the sugar until you get a fluffy and light mixture. Then gradually add the oil and continue mixing until all the ingredients are well combined. When the mixture is smooth, add sifted cocoa and flour with baking powder and mix everything well to get a homogeneous dough. At the end, add vanilla sugar and mix again.
  2. When we have the dough ready, we continue to shape the balls. Take a small portion of the dough and shape it into a ball between your palms. Then roll the ball in coconut so that it is nicely coated with coconut flour. The process is repeated until all the dough is used up, making sure that the balls are the same size and shape.
  3. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Leave some space between the balls so they don't stick together during baking. Heat the oven to 180°C and bake the chocolate balls in it for about 20 minutes, or until they are nicely browned and crispy on the outside, but still soft and juicy on the inside.
  4. When the chocolate balls are baked, take them out of the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
