Restaurants with Michelin stars are considered a symbol of prestige, and we usually go to them only on special occasions. Dishes prepared by the greatest chefs usually cost fabulous sums of money. But is that really always the case?

Anthony Bourdain was a global culinary adventurer who left the world on July 8 last year. His life was varied, and people around the world could follow him on his shows, where he traveled the world and tried various delicacies, as well as things that many of us would not dare to put in our mouths (ant larvae, raw seals eyes, cobra...). And that's probably why we can completely trust him when choosing those destinations that will impress us with their beauty and cuisine, but at the same time we won't meet there, as Bourdain himself would say, "douchebags".

BeerLab is located in the basement of the Tkalka building in the center of Maribor, and it is managed by the institute for the development of creative technologies Citilab.

The main square in Maribor is richer for bars and hotels, which bring back to the city a sense of nostalgia for the traditional, bourgeois and homely. Gostilna Maribor conjures up traditional Styrian cuisine for citizens and tourists, bringing back the memory of their grandmothers' kitchen to the former, and introducing local cuisine to the latter. Therefore, all of you who will visit the city by the Drava in the future, do not forget to stop at the Maribor Inn, where you can (re)experience the old days of the Styrian capital and taste excellent traditional dishes.
HI KO FI is the vision of Gregor Blažič and Matija Krebs, who simply wanted to offer the city of Maribor a different, more transparent coffee. Due to the desire to raise the quality and culture of coffee drinking, they want to offer customers only the best. The coffee offer is complemented by selected Slovenian wines, beer from local microbreweries and other selected beverages. Since they do not want to work on the packaging, but on the content, the bar is equipped with top-quality equipment that helps to achieve a higher quality final product.

Nutella is one of those things that we can't hate (even though we often hear that it's not the best choice for our health). We eat it 'on a spoon', spread it on bread, and also include it in various snacks and desserts. Ferrero will thus open a Nutella Café in Chicago at the end of May, where they will serve salty and sweet delicacies, the main ingredient of which will naturally be Nutella.
