The abdomen is one of those areas where fat accumulates quickly and the area where it is the most difficult to get rid of. It may even happen that, despite frequent exercise, we simply cannot get this area into the shape we want. What are we doing wrong?
First of all, it is necessary to realize that the melting of fat around the abdomen depends on several factors: metabolic rate, our age, type of exercise and food and drink, which we regularly enjoy. Also, if we get rid of carbohydrates and sweets in our diet, this does not mean that we will be able to get rid of the belly completely. In order for it to be level, we must first consume it enough fluids, eat a healthy and varied diet, do proper exercise and se give up alcohol and carbonated drinks. But the most important thing is to realize that this is a longer process. The results will not be here overnight, but it will take quite a bit of time and effort for the results to be long-term and satisfactory.
3 main mistakes we make when getting a flat stomach:
1. We only do sit-ups.
One of the biggest mistakes is that we only do sit-ups and exercises that are intended exclusively for this part of the body. We will only achieve a flat stomach with a combination of different exercises, but in order for it to be really shaped, fat must first be melted, and sit-ups will not do that. Let's start with cardio and weight training, then come shaping.
2. We eat everything that is "healthy."
When it comes to food, it is important to increase the intake of protein, fresh seasonal fruit and avoid canned food, even if it is labeled "healthy". It is advisable to eat cooked food, as it does not in principle bloat, and to avoid drinks that contain preservatives. Try freshly squeezed juices, water or nutritious teas.
3. We ignore stress and situations that happen to us.
Although every organism is different and no one reacts to things in the same way, situations that occur at work or in the family affect problematic parts of the body, among which the abdomen certainly belongs. So don't be surprised if fat burning and belly shaping stagnate during a stressful period.
