Recipes: New Year's snacks that you prepare in a few minutes

New Year's snacks, which we prepare quickly and easily and shine with them as the host of the best December party.

New Year's snacks or "finger food" they are finger foods that do not require lengthy preparation, and they are also easy to serve, as guests simply place them on a napkin or in their hand. By quickly and easily preparing our selection of salty snacks for the New Year's party, we will successfully avoid feasting on boring chips and uninnovative salty sticks, piles of unwashed dishes, long hours of baking and the eternal excuse to actually organize a party.

1. Raw puff pastry sticks

Ingridients:

  • 250g of puff pastry
  • 1 egg
  • 100g of grated cheese
  • spices as desired (chili and rosemary smell best to us)

Preparation: Roll out the thawed dough and brush it with beaten egg, mixed with a little water if desired. Decorate the dough with grated cheese and spices and cut it into strips of any thickness (we prefer sticks 2 cm wide and 10 cm long). Place the strips on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, and place it in an oven heated to 180 degrees for about 15 minutes. We offer chilled cheese sticks as they are, but they can be served with various sauces.

2. Spicy Chicken Skewers

Ingridients:

  • 4 chicken breast halves
  • 100 ml of coconut milk
  • 3 tablespoons of curry powder
  • 0.5 tsp chili powder
  • 250 g of yogurt
  • salt
  • pepper
  • olive oil

Preparation: Mix coconut milk, yogurt and spices in a bowl. Cut the chicken breast into thicker strips, place them in a dish and put them on wooden sticks after being well marinated. Fry the skewers in a pan and serve immediately.

3. Italian toasted breads

Ingridients:

  • 8 pieces of white bread
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 8 pitted and chopped olives
  • 4 tomatoes
  • salt
  • pepper
  • basil

Preparation: Cut the scallions into cubes and fry them in olive oil. Season and simmer for about 5 minutes. The bread is toasted in the oven and the crispy bread is generously rubbed with garlic, drizzled with olive oil, covered with roasted tomatoes and sprinkled with chopped olives.

4. Pizza rolls

Ingridients:

  • 400 g puff pastry
  • can of pelatas
  • 100 g of prosciutto
  • 100 g of mozzarella
  • 1 egg
  • salt
  • pepper
  • oregano
  • garlic

Preparation: Heat the oven to 180 degrees. Roll out the puff pastry into a rectangle and cover it with chopped peals and cover with slices of prosciutto. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella and season with salt, pepper, garlic and oregano. Roll the enriched dough into a roulade and place it in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. Cut the cooled roulade into rings and arrange them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Whisk an egg and two tablespoons of water in a bowl and coat the rolls with the mixture. Bake the pizza rolls for about 20 minutes and serve immediately when cooled.
