Recipe: Grilled peaches with vanilla ice cream

Stone fruit season has arrived. Who doesn't love a simple and quick dessert that will impress your guests on hot days. Grilled peaches with vanilla ice cream and honey balsamic drizzle is a recipe you will always have on hand.

The preparation of the dessert is so simple, but each ingredient tells its own story and provides an explosion of flavors. It's the perfect summer dessert to enjoy on your patio as the summer sun sets.

Ingridients:

  • ripe peaches
  • good vanilla ice cream
  • balsamic vinegar
  • honey
  • olive oil

Preparation:

Start the preparation with the good ones fresh peaches, which should not be too ripe and soft, as they may fall apart during baking. Cut the peaches to half, and remove the bones. Then wash them and coat them with olive oil to avoid oxidation during baking. Then mix a little balsamic vinegar and honey in a special bowl.

Before you grill the peaches, you just need to clean them well before baking, because you don't want the dessert to taste like meat. Baking in a pan is also an alternative. Cook the peaches for about 3 to 4 minutes on each side. When they are baked to the top add a scoop of good quality of vanilla ice cream, and drizzle lightly with a combination of honey and balsamic vinegar. If you don't like the combination of honey and vinegar, you can top the dessert with different syrups to suit your taste.
