Stop sitting for hours at work. If your job requires you to sit for eight hours, it is imperative that you remember to take a short walk at least every hour. Set a reminder and walk to get tea, meet a colleague for a chat, or make a phone call standing up.

Maintaining healthy habits can sometimes seem like a mission impossible, especially if you have a job that involves working at a desk for eight, ten or more hours! Ignoring these habits can lead to poor health.

That's why it's very important to adopt small healthy habits that have big benefits for your body in general.

Let's look at some of them.

Take a break every hour

Hours of work at a desk tire the body and increase tension in it. If you take a break every hour, you will improve your focus and thus your performance and performance. You also need to move between breaks - stretch so that the body feels the movement and activates.

This way, you won't use up too much energy, but will keep it going throughout the day without feeling completely exhausted or exhausted! Mentally and physically, these breaks will help you feel better and you won't feel like you have no more energy for other activities after work. You will have more strength and willpower.

Stretch yourself

In addition to stretching during breaks, you can do it any time you're at your desk to relieve tension and stress.

Walk, don't sit

Do you manage to reach 10,000 steps a day? According to research, this number of steps is suitable for good health. But this will be difficult to achieve if you are in the office all day.

Try a different way, avoid the elevator in the building where you work - take the stairs! If your work is close by, walk to that place or opt for a bike ride. If you don't think it's possible to go to work this way, make sure you park your car a little further from the building where you work and at least walk a little. Use every moment to take extra steps.

Stand or walk while talking on the phone

Do you spend a lot of time on the phone as part of your job? Then instead of sitting, stand up and make a phone call while standing. Or better yet, walk around the office. Apparently, you can burn a lot of calories in an hour of intense walking back and forth around the room. In addition, you will also stretch and exercise your legs and back in this way.

Set a specific time for meals

Your work schedule can sometimes be so busy that it's easiest to eat a meal at your desk while doing other things. Eat in peace. At every meal, take time for yourself, put your phone on silent, at least for those 10, 15 minutes. If your days are already so full of excitement, at least give yourself peace and time between meals.

Drink lots of water

Especially on a very busy working day, when you can quickly forget about the need to drink at least two to three liters of water a day. A sufficient amount of liquid is not only important for beautiful skin and for detoxification and regeneration of the body, but also for well-being. If you are dehydrated, you will have a headache and it will be difficult to concentrate. You will feel tired and without energy.

Always have a bottle of water with you and drink all the time. Make water your priority. If necessary, set a reminder for this as well. It takes so little to make your body happy.
