Meditation is not as easy as it seems at first glance. Try to sit comfortably and focus on your breathing while a mountain of thoughts and ideas fly past you. To do better, you need a suitable corner. Check out some ideas on how to arrange it.

Meditation is one of the most successful ways to combat stress. In addition, it has a number of beneficial effects on our body, from lowering blood pressure to reducing anxiety. Although it looks easy at first glance, it is anything but that. It is best if you manage to turn meditation into a habit, i.e. into something everyday.

And the right place is a good step towards that. Here are some simple tips for setting up a meditation corner.

Choose a suitable location

It is not necessary to devote the whole room to meditation (if it is possible, why not), even a corner will be enough. If you have a larger space, you can only partially partition it and create a separate space.

Choose objects that facilitate concentration

In the second step, make the selected corner as attractive as possible. Add some flowers, perhaps a bonsai, as well as other natural elements such as stones, a branch or a beautiful tree leaf. You can also choose a photo that will put a smile on your face or one of the inspiring quotes. Don't forget some candles, but place them in a safe place, far away from flammable objects.

Choose a suitable seat

There are a number of meditation postures that may be best suited as a foundation for yoga. A comfortable seat will be even more attractive, but it should not be too comfortable, otherwise you will fall asleep.

Be careful using electronic devices

If you want to keep your corner as zen as possible, then make sure that electronic devices and mobile phones are as far away as possible. Cell phones and computers are often associated with stress, so keep them out of your field of vision while meditating.
