Audi has been involved in the future of the automotive industry for some time now with its fleet of e-tron electric SUVs. This time, the Audi e-tron GT borrowed the J1 platform, which it shares with the Taycan. And that can mean a lot of good, because the latter is a really crazy car.

Maybe it's necessary first into context set base numbers. Two versions will be available: Quattro and RS e-tron GT. It is also the first electric Audi to wear this distinctive sporty badge. Both models will have four-wheel drive, both will have a two-speed gearbox and both will have a 93kWh battery, which sounds similar to the Taycan.

The "Quattro" thus squeezes out 522 HP from the battery, while the RS model is capable of as much as 637 HP. They are able to do this in the so-called "overboost mode", which increases this power only temporarily, and in the more powerful version, it enables acceleration from 0 km/h to 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds.

Audi claims a WLTP range of 487 kilometers for the Quattro and 471 kilometers for the RS. As with the Taycan, the 800V electric architecture means that DC charging of up to 270kW is possible if you find a charging point that can do it. Which means 100 kilometers of range in 5 minutes.

Audi e-tron GT can boast of a spacious luggage compartment that measures as much as 405 liters in the back and an additional 85 in the front of the car.

Audi with the Audi e-tron GT model, it targets all those who find the Porsche Taycan too sporty and the Tesla Model S too ordinary.
