Action cameras are hot at the moment, with GoPro and Insta360 launching their latest models over the past few weeks. Unsurprisingly, it was only a matter of time before DJI got in on the action with an updated iteration of its flagship Osmo Action 3.

In terms of capabilities and technical features, the latest model has the ability to capture 4K/120fps with an ultra-wide 155° distortion-free field of view, combining to capture footage that naturalises all dynamic movements and delivers a clear, refined result. When it comes to maintaining image clarity, the Action 3 boasts the latest generation of HorizonSteady, DJI's proprietary stabilization algorithm that ensures stable footage even when the camera rotates 360°. In addition to its superior recording capabilities, the Osmo Action 3 is cold-resistant and waterproof.

It has a great runtime of 160 minutes, which drops slightly with lower temperature, as it can only record 150 minutes when used in conditions below -4°C. It also has two color touchscreens on the front and back, offering more options for playing and editing settings. Finally, the action camera's quick-release design allows you to switch to vertical shooting when using the optional mount.
