Meditation, movement, music,... there are a number of well-known ways that make us happier and help us feel better. But there are also some unusual ways to achieve more pleasant feelings, which some equate with happiness.

The Healthy.com website has published some unusual ways to feel better. But they might come in handy sometime.

Rub your ears

Auricular reflexology is a term used to describe the stimulation of pressure points in the ear, which are supposed to be connected to individual parts of the body (foot, bladder, etc.). By gently massaging the ear lobes and stimulating the mentioned points, you can also reduce negative feelings. If you feel sick or overwhelmed, try massaging the outer ear ring.

Lunch on the beach

The sea itself brings more pleasant feelings. However, a recent study by the University of Sussex found that eating at your desk lowers your happiness index. That's why it's better to have lunch in the park, have a meal in a restaurant or enjoy a home-cooked meal, because according to the research, only these increase your happiness quotient. The highest was measured among those who enjoyed a meal on the seashore.

Make sure you have more sex than your neighbors

This advice sounds strange, but a study by the University of Colorado Boulder, in which as many as 15 thousand people participated, showed that the happiest are those who have sex at least two to three times a month. They are a third more likely to feel happy than those who have not had sex at all in the last year. Another interesting aspect of the research: those who were convinced that they were more sexually active than their neighbors were, according to the researchers, much happier.

Sale of real estate

Guess which profession is considered the happiest? According to Forbes magazine, real estate agents can boast of this title. CareerBliss.com, a recruiting website, surveyed more than 65,000 people about the factors that make them happy in the workplace and found that real estate agents topped the list.

Play video games

In a survey of occasional video game players in a nursing home (average age of respondents was 77), a whopping 67 percent reported that playing games reduced their depressed mood.
