In Ljubljana, a new restaurant with Peruvian and Japanese fusion cuisine, known as nikkei, opened in the city center (Breg 8).
Nikkei started conquering Europe as a new culinary sensation years ago, it has been a staple in Peru for decades. The Japanese community began to leave its mark in South America after the 19th century, with the migration of Japanese to this continent, and one of the areas they had a great influence on was cuisine.
For example, before the arrival of the Japanese, Peru did not pay much attention to seafood. Fish was only on the menu when nothing else was available, while the Peruvians fed their domestic animals with mussels, tuna, and similar seafood, leaving octopuses lying on the shore.
For Barra restaurant stands Grega Božičnik, who also brought to the capital Sushimamo, Romeo and Fetish.
