The first official photos of the Peugeot 308, the trump card of the French that aims at the very top of the family class, have appeared online. We can expect it at the beginning of next year - also at our Peugeot dealers.
Peugeot
A completely new station wagon has entered the compact station wagon market PEUGEOT 308 SW. It is a car of special style and an aerodynamically perfect station wagon with a drag coefficient of 0.277, which has a positive effect on both fuel consumption and total CO2 emissions.
In China, the Peugeot brand uses the 408 designation for the limousine version of the 308 hatchback model. In Europe, the 408 designation represents a completely new model and is actually a so-called ʺfastbackʺ model, which in this case is slightly higher and has a particularly prominent rear.
At a time when off-road vehicles are more and more present on the car market, Peugeot decided to play the card of originality in the light of environmental efficiency and with the new Peugeot 408 brought an interesting innovation of the fastback silhouette. Between the 308 and 508 sedans and the twin-zero SUVs, Peugeot is leaning into a new segment with the 408.
Peugeot offered buyers on this side of the Alps a renovated flagship in the form of the 508 business sedan, which, just like before the renovation, is also available in a station wagon version. It can be recognized by the new nose of the vehicle, which is concentrated around the new LED lights that have replaced xenon ones. Prices start at just under 23 and end at 45 thousand.
Peugeot has revealed the facelift (Peugeot 508 Facelift) of its popular 508 sedan, SW and PEUGEOT SPORT ENGINEERED versions for 2023. The new models boast elegant design, advanced technology and premium materials. From the ultra-slim headlights to the new distinctive lighting system, the 508 has an undeniably modern and feline look. The 508 i-Cockpit® features a 10-inch high-definition central display, wireless connectivity, natural language voice recognition and over-the-air updates. The 508s is also equipped with advanced driver assistance systems, three-mode controlled suspension and four engine options, including two plug-in hybrid versions and a PEUGEOT SPORT ENGINEERED plug-in hybrid version with 360 hp and 4-wheel drive.
At the beginning of the year, the new Peugeot 508 was presented to us, but now the time has come for its larger, station wagon version. In principle, both are quite similar, at least as far as striking exterior design and extremely attractive interiors are concerned.
The Peugeot 508 was launched in 2011 and apparently 2018 is the year that will be credited with the second generation of the French sedan. As we have already seen with Citroën, Peugeot will also enter the battle against SUVs and try to convince with its limousine and above all technological advantages.
The Peugeot e-208 is the first fully electric car of the Peugeot brand, which is based on the eCMP platform, on which the DS 3 Croccback E-Tense is also made.
For Peugeot, entering the world of cycling is nothing new. Did you know that it started manufacturing bicycles as early as 1882, and powered by an internal combustion engine eight years later? The production of cars and bicycles were separated in 1926, but in 2011 the French returned bicycles to the "mother" again. The Peugeot e-Bike eUO1s is not Peugeot's first bike, we only remember the AE21 hybrid from 2013 or the e-Bike eF01, which was presented together with the new generation of the Peugeot 5008 model, which can be integrated in the luggage compartment. Well, for more serious urban challenges, there is the e-bike Peugeot e-Bike eU01s.
Peugeot has been writing its own story for 120 years and is one of the first companies in the automotive industry. During this time, they managed to make quite a few interesting cars, and towards the end of the 60s, they "teamed up" with Pininfarina and created the cute Peugeot 504 Coupe. Now, after many years, we will witness a modern version of the classic coupe called the Peugeot e-Legend Concept.
At Peugeot, they asked themselves what the two-door car of the future will be and their vision is the Peugeot Fractal, an urban electric coupe concept with a sliding roof and a 2 + 2 seating arrangement (that is, without the back bench). It is a study that upgrades the i-Cockpit driving environment, which came to life in the SR1 study in 2010 and emphasizes sound sensations, while at the same time introducing a special soundscape with which to warn pedestrians and cyclists, as it is practically inaudible due to the electric motor.
